Nottingham Forest manager Ange Postecoglou insists that external scrutiny regarding his position will not impact his methodology.
The club is without a victory in his first six matches since the Australian took over from Nuno Espirito Santo at the club's stadium.
A group of Forest supporters chanted, "you'll be dismissed in the morning", at the ex- Tottenham and Celtic manager following Thursday's 3-2 Europa League loss at their ground to Midtjylland.
The Manager's Response to Pressure
Postecoglou, though, stated that the Europa League title he won at Tottenham the previous campaign, before being dismissed in the off-season, was proof he does not let pressure to impact his management.
"I don't think about it," he added. "My duty lies in ensuring this football club advances and reaches a level where it can compete for titles," stated Postecoglou.
"If I start setting deadlines to that or worry about what is occurring soon then I am not performing the position I have been assigned.
"I believe it is beneficial to anyone. Ultimately, I have to concentrate on the atmosphere, the training, the way we play, and as I said last night, I am still very, very strong in my belief that we are not too far away.
"To explain - I knew I was getting sacked at Tottenham approximately 3-4 months before I did, but that didn't stop me from winning something."
Professional History
The 60-year-old moved to Spurs from Celtic in 2023 and fans initially embraced the Australian for his attacking playing style, with the Londoners finishing 5th in the Premier League during his first season.

Nuno was dismissed after only three matches of this campaign when Forest were tenth in the standings. They are now 17th, having tied once and lost two of their three domestic games under Postecoglou.

Fan Perspective
This campaign should have been one of Nottingham Forest's best in recent times. Entry into Europe for the initial occasion in 30 years, the strongest team this millennium and everyone at the club working towards the common goal.
Unexpectedly, at least for now, that has completely vanished away. Nuno has departed, displays have been abject and on the recent evening the stadium turned on the new manager Ange Postecoglou after just six matches.
However it's typically classic Forest, a team that shifts from success to internal crisis like a learner driver who fails to remain in a lane.
Future Challenges
Amid fixtures against Newcastle, the Blues, Porto, Bournemouth and the Red Devils approaching, it's very hard to predict whether he can reverse the situation before it becomes even more toxic.
But question any fan and they'll inform you the identical thing, it's never dull at Nottingham Forest.
